Scott Crevier's Webmaster Resources
Color Tester

To test a new color, select either "Text" or "Background". Then select one of the 140 color names, or enter a hex value or enter a comma-separated RGB value. You will notice that in addition to changing the background color, RGB values entered are converted to hex, and vice-versa. Also, if you turn off the 'Window Focus' option, then the color sample window will not get the focus each time you click on a color. Having this option turned off is helpful if you want to click on one color, and then just use your down-arrow key to scroll through the colors.

You may also find my color chart helpful when converting color values between decimal and hexadecimal.
