IE Bug
"No such interface supported"

I've talked to many people who have encountered this bug, without knowing it's a known bug. So I created this page to make it easy for me to relay the info. My main recommendation is to just upgrade your browser to the most recent version.

The bug is that when you click a link on a web page that uses JavaScript to open a new window, the new window may not be opened, or you may receive the following error message:

Internet Explorer Script Error

Microsoft has identified this as a bug in Internet Explorer v4.0 and the first release of v4.01. As such, they have published article #Q180176 to address the issue and offer a solution.
